I own every book, hardback and paperback that she has ever written...I wondered why I couldn't find any other books. I am thrilled that another book is coming. I imagine she was a comfort to her mother...I know what her books do for me...
January 1 2035? Guess it's time to give up completely on this book.
I've not read one of JM's in awhile but it would be interested in reading another. I especially like her contemporary books, so I'm giving the non-existant book 4 stars as are the others.

Thank you Judith M. for the numerous hours of entertainment, the laughter, the tears, the joy. Your books actually take me into another world. There, I experience right along with your characters that seem real to me. I have all your books and every three years or so read them all starting with Kingdom of Dreams and read them in story order, then when I am almost finished with the last book, I actually feel sad, even bereft, that the characters will no longer be a part of my daily life!

Please know how sorry I am for your losses. I have been concerned and wondering, and missing your talent. I am so looking forward to enjoying the next book. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with all of us these past years.
I wouldn't know how to rate this book. It was supposed to be initially released I believe in 1997 or 1998. After two decades it would appear that the book is finally available. In French. I speak 4 languages but alas french is not one of them. Does anyone else feel a bit like the proverbial Donkey with the dangling carrot?
I know the author's mother passed away sometime during the late 90's.Of course one's creativity would be stifled during times of great loss. So with patience I diligently checked each of the following years for the release date only to see it postponed every time. At some point during the mid 2000's, I read that this book was released in the UK, but for some reason not here in the US. Now that it is available here, it is offered in only in French to those better educated than I. I hope I don't appear to be too pushy but I would really like to read this book. In English. Here in the U.S.
Just as a side note, I had read that Ms. McNaught had considered writing this as a time travel story. I know time travel stories are fantastical but I do love them.I guess the idea of knowing what was going to happen and when appeals to the narcissist in me. In any case I'm hoping to read more of her writings as I've read everything she's written. (yes, I have no life).
About 10 years ago my mother handed me my first Judith McNaught novel, Perfect. I am the last of five girls and my mother has shared her Judith books with all five of us on the condition she gets them back. We all fell in love with the characters and could not wait to read the next one my mother would hand to you. Unfortunately my mother is suffering heath issues herself at 86 years old and my only hope is that Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You will be published before it's to late for her to read it. Judith McNaught is by far my mother's favorite author.
Judith McNaught has long been one of my favorite authors and I recently began to read her books again, something I do periodically. I began looking for this new book and was disappointed not to be able to find it. I was also saddened to read about her losses and by some of the reviews. I have lost both parents and I've learned that grief does not have a schedule and no two people experience it or recover from it in the same way or at the same pace. While we are blessed by reading her books it does not give us the right to demand that she write or respond to events in her life on our time schedules or in a manner we prescribe. I look forward to her next book when she is ready to write it. In the meantime I hope that she is doing better and that she will find joy and peace in the good memories she has.
